Taking Shape Biography

'Taking Shape' has a background in art and design, sculpture and theatre settings with a broad range of teaching experience. Come and help them construct Big Chef with his saucepan full of surprises. Look out for a fantastic array of tablecloth flags, food hats, flying carrots, spinning kitchen implements and fantasy food on sticks. Dip your fingers into lots of different techniques and come up with something totally tasty for the procession.

Dot to Dot Biography

Dot To Dot is a London-based arts organisation specialising in colourful and creative children’s workshops using recycled materials.The team for WOMAD in Caceres 2007 comprises of three London based artists:Dot Young works freelance as a sculptor. She has taught sculptural techniques for performance at University of the Arts, London for several years, and now teaches Theatre Arts and Crafts at Central School of Speech and Drama, London. Her freelance sculptural work covers film, theatre, television and community arts-based projects.Keirion Carroll studied textiles at Goldsmith’s College, London. He has worked with several fashion designers in both London and Paris and has spent periods of time in New York working on children’s theatre productions and in conjunction with a number of contemporary dance companies.Polly Nash is an independent film-maker/producer and for the last ten years has worked with London based production organisation ‘Spectacle’, working on community investigative documentary in London and Brussels and experimental art space films. She also teaches production and documentary at University of the Arts, London.
