Dixey Ruscelli Biography

Dixey Ruscelli has danced all her life, beginning in her mothers school of classical ballet, and later discovering Flamenco. She has lived a colourful life travelling and living in various parts of Europe including Spain, Italy, and Ireland, and living a travelling life style for many years. She trained with many inspired and well known teachers in Spain and in England, and has taught and performed Flamenco for over 20 years. With her group, Zambra Flamenca, in which 3 of her daughters have danced at various times, she has toured many parts of the world. Her popular classes and workshops are lively and enjoyable. Her teaching methods are clear and easy to follow and her pupils come away inspired, having learned exciting rhythms, graceful movements and snappy footwork.
