In all seriousness, though, what about Sigur Ros? Or is that too mainstream? I know they did well with Hoppipolla on TV, but other than that, I think they're sufficiently 'world-ey'... Thoughts?
Also - Gotan Project? Would be great to see them.
And +1 on those who've said about more reggae.

Sigur Ros, mainstream?
everyone is welcome and +1 for Sigur Ros from us

Well, I know they aren't really well known...but some might consider it to be unsuitable because of Hoppipolla...But glad someone else agrees with me that they'd be a good choice :D

No reggae, already seen Gotan Project, I want to be surprised and amazed by stuff I haven't seen before please.

Saw Jonsi play Latitude and he was wonderful, He gets a bit more excitable when he steps out of Sigur Ros, so I'd love to see him again.
I'd like, Chanteurs a la Croix de Cuivre after Tom Ravenscroft's heavy plugging.
and THE PASCALS.......Pleasssssssssse.

how about a jamming stage, no line up just let loose the artist who are preforming on the other stages and see what hybrid musical magic is created?
(works for Celtic Connects and has lead to some great collaborations)

Love the jamming stage suggestion - it would mess up my spreadsheet something rotten, but be marvellous at the same time!

More reggae

I would love to see Peter Gabriel, Alpha Blondy, Baaba Maal, Drummers of Burundi and Vieux Farka Toure to name just a few

Another idea-Bjork
