Apparently the Food Programme on BBC R4 next week is about the food offer at WOMAD - Should be interesting, It's on next Sunday at 12.30, repeated Monday at 4pm!

Cheers - will set magic thing to trap it!

I think they are especially looking at (listening to?) the Taste the World events. It kept being announced there

Aha... Exclusively Taste the World it seems...

"Recorded at this summer's WOMAD festival, The Food Programme visits the TASTE THE WORLD STAGE. Musicians from Cote d'Ivoire, Egypt, Finland and Sicily, cook, play and chat while Sheila Dillon looks on in amazement and samples the food." [...]

. . .I'm looking forward to hopefully getting bigger helpings this time round. . . at least we won't have to watch the vultures in the front scoffing every crumb waved in front of their noses. . .

Will they tell us how to cook a glamper?

I understand Mr Beef will be laying on a finger buffet for listeners.....

Will there be sock-based recipes for Alan?

. . .unfortunately the glamper season is extremely short - as soon as WOMAD (and possibly one or two other upmarket-catered festivals) is over they migrate in expensive cars to expensive safe havens. . . if you do catch one out of season they fetch a good price on the black market (try asking your local butcher).

I think Alan may find "sock in the hole" a bit tricky, Marten, then there's always sockerole or rissocko he can try

Any more sock recipe suggestions?
I once watched a pine marten eat sausages - one of my best memories, in fact!
