We sure the Womad equinox has come and gone and it was on the countdown thread

We've also been trying not to let Gordy know about Tit watch as he might see them lunch however he surprised us today when he said he was a bit of a tit bird and he liked to play with all kinds of tits as they are fun to be with.

Great Tit Watch:
As the chicks become larger and more fuzzy, they are less easy to count - they appear to be permanently out of focus and wrything around, some underneath others, so the traditional family snapshot, all lined up, combed and looking at the camera at the same time isn't ont he cards here. If you're eating, please look away now...........If you've been wondering about fecal sacs, then our observation is that these are produced by the chicks by quickly laying on their backs when the parent bird is at the nest, pushing one out, then the parent bird collects it in their beak. Titty swallows; Titan takes it outside and presumably spits.........
ok to eat again now....... all well and healthy on the nest and we did count eight chicks at once at one point...
