Ah now hmmm Steve & Pete... are you sitting down Standing Stone. I got up one sunny Saturday morning last summer at 6:30 ish and let my ladies out to rummage around the garden, and I went back to bed, thinking what a lovely morning! Just a couple of hours more in bed and what a lovely day today will be......Got back up a couple of hours later, Alan was dozing in the sun in the house gazing out into the garden through the patio doors....all was peace in world. I went out to de-poo the chickens only to find every single one was dead! Each one had had it's head bitten off, the head taken and the body left! Thanks Foxy. Steve and Pete are sadly no more, and Alan was a rubbish guard dog9although he seems to make up for it now! Sorry for the sad news

Yep sorry to have to tell it , still it is the way of chickens and foxes, it's what they do. Anyhow Mrs L & I are really looking forward to Womad this year, our youngest son has given us permission to go on our own this year. Just hope we don't let his trust down
