Gerhard Richter is now considered to be the world’s greatest living artist now that Lucian Freud has gone.
Personally I don’t’ like Freud’s work, but yes Hockney would be good.

....a bigger arboretum....

Not sure I've heard their music SS

... you need to go to one of their gigs on a breezy day; the leaves make a wonderful sound - on a very windy day, you can hear the wood groaning as it bends.....fabulous!

we find they take a while to get going but once they get going they are awesome

Seun Kuti, Alpha Blondy, Baaba Maal, Salif Keita, Manu Chao, Vieux Farka Toure, Ozomatli, Antibalas, Sophie Hunger, Tinariwen, Jimmy Cliff, Steel Pulse, Burning Spear, Echo and the Bunnymen and Peter Gabriel.

George Dalaras. I'd love to see some Greek Rembetika . Some years ago I was lucky enough to see him at the Herodion Theatre in Athens. It was a magical night . A summers night , sat in a theatre that was built in 161AD , in the shadow of the Acropolis . George Dalaras was the 'headliner' and Emma Shapplin was his support . It was one of those very special nights ..
And I think Emma Shapplin would be good at Womad too .
