  a few more WOMAD tokens have been earned but back to yesterday

  we started with Detention which was a very funny physical comedy from Hong Kong, there was a slight delay in the show starting but the cast came out and gave us pencils to make up for it which was very sweet.

  Next was Anda Union and they were better that every and everyone we spoke in the queue before the show had seen them before and had brought someone with them!!!! Del also enjoyed 2 glass of rice spirit and he let Cal have the third. After the show we chatted some of the band members and they were delighted to hear we planned to see them when they play Glasgow in January!!!!!!!!!!! (we're also hoping they show the Anda union film in Glasgow as they did so during the fringe)

  We then saw Princess Pyunggag which was a bit strange, it tried to tell the story of Korean folktale but it did really do it for us and when the great warrior started to tap dance during a fight sequence we knew the show had gone a wee bit too far but that what you get at the fringe sometime.

  We then had a bit of a break and treated ourselves to lovely veggie curry from the Kalpna restaurant which was very tasty

  Then we had a double header of Polish theatre

  first was Planned Lemm which was a highly enjoyable and imaginative performance and if you get the chance to see it we would recommend it, the staging was great and costumes and props, we would see this show again!

  last of all was the blind, this dark tale of the world going blind then forming a new civilisation from the chaos that ensues. It was well preformed but didn't do anything that amazed us and we have seen this kind of thing before and followed a similar path.

  19 days to NOT seeing (Happy) Leonard Cohen for SS & Jambo - venue changed to Wembley and tickets withdrawn..have to rebuy............much swearing and jumping up and down !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but it swells the Womad fund!!!!

  bright and breezy day at this end of the BBBofIC

  Del is happy but confused

  He upgrade his mobile and now has a smart phone which he is trying to work out how to use (he is wondering if throwing it against a wall would knock some sense into it).

  or supply of tart is almost depleted and we may have to start on the ice cream tomorrow!!!

  but who cares when there is only 331 day until WOMAD!!!
