WOMAD Summer School 2008 takes place at Bath Spa University situated in beautiful rolling countryside, just outside the historic spa town of Bath, which is served by main line train and coach services. The university campus is 20 minutes from the centre of town. Check out www.bathspa.ac.uk for detailed information on the site and facilities at Bath Spa University.

Some of the fantastic facilities we have access to include, two purpose-built theatres, a dance studio, rehearsal rooms, student bar, and a light and airy canteen and caf. Students are able to explore the campus grounds with plenty of opportunity to use outdoor spaces for group work or individual reflective time.

If you prefer to camp, the Newton Mill Campsite is ten minutes drive from the campus and has excellent facilities for motor homes, tents, caravans etc. newtonmill@hotmail.com

If you are spending the weekend at the WOMAD Festival at Charlton Park (25th 27th July) and intend to come on to WOMAD Summer School at Bath Spa, it is about a 45 minutes to an hours drive from Malmesbury.
