General camping is situated in the centre of the racecourse oval. The camp site opens on Friday 16 March 2012. Departure time is by 10am Monday 19 March. Toilets and hot showers are available along with wheelchair accessible facilities.
Tickets (please note service/transaction fees will apply to all camping ticket purchases)
Each person who wants to camp at WOMAD needs to buy a camping ticket as well as a ticket to the festival. Three-day camping tickets (bring your own tent or campervan and gear) for WOMAD 2012 are $54 per person (under 12 years old free with paying adult except in EZIcamp zone). Or your may prefer the EZIcamp option where you rent a tent and two single airbeds for two persons at a cost of $288 for two persons (includes the $54 per person standard camp site access fee), details are below.
Family area
This is for family groups with children. It is located between the racecourse and the TSB Stadium adjacent to the camping registration/welcome point.
Motor homes
Motor homes and self contained vehicles are located in a designated area in the general camping site.
Ezicamp $288 for two people for three nights
If convenience appeals to you then the EZIcamp option is for you! Rent a tent that is already set up for you with two single airbeds. Just bring your pillow, bedding and other camping equipment.
EZICAMP tickets are sold as a pair (twin share basis). Your tickets give you access to a tent that is set up and two single airbeds for two persons at a cost of $288 for two persons (includes the $54 per person standard camp site access fee).
