Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is at the north of the island of Gran Canaria, around 20 minutes drive from Gran Canaria airport.

The Parque de Santa Catalina is a city square in the centre of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It is approximately 200m from the city's main beach, Playa de Las Canteras.
