Young Wägilak Group

The Young Wägilak Group from Ngukurr in south east Arnhem Land, led by Benjamin Wilfred, has emerged out of the Australian Art Orchestra's Crossing Roper Bar series - collaborations since 2004 that have created a contemporary rendering of the Manikay (song cycles) of the Yolngu of Arhnem Land, among the oldest musical traditions on the planet.
