Yair Dalal’s music reflects his strong affinity for the desert and its inhabitants. This prolific composer, violinist and oud (Middle-Eastern lute) player interweaves the traditions of Iraqi and Jewish Arabic music with an eclectic mix of musical influences. Living in Israel’s rich multicultural society has imbued Dalal’s art with the musical treasures of numerous cultural heritages, creating a unique and colourful sound.
