Miren Iza's universe hides under the name of TULSA. Miren a Young woman from Guipuzcoa (Fuenterrabía, Basque Country, 1979) started off her music career with Electrobikinis a riot girls band. Punk rock and surf sung in English.
Electrobikinis splitted in 2002 and then Miren Iza starts to write deep and soul-descriptive lyrics in Spanish and she started to perform at small venues along with guitarist Alfredo Niharra, in which her broken voice -rated as one of the most special voices of Pop music in Spain- hits the spot and opens long-forgotten wounds.
The magnetic stage presence of Miren Iza, a singer and songwriter with a special talent for getting into emotionally bare states, grows up over a magnificent score of folk rock flair that is perfectly conveyed by Alfredo Niharra, one of the best guitarists from Getxo, Miguel Guzman (guitarist), Alberto Rodriguez (bass) and the experienced galician drummer Gabriel Marijuan.
