Beatboxing all-female vocal quartet. No instruments required

In these belt-tightening, cheese-paring times, a little imagination is often needed to make ends meet. It's all about the essentials; luxuries are not on the agenda. The Boxettes know this and are a group who've dispensed with the need of such indulgences as musical instruments. Instead they ply their trade, and create their art, simply using the instruments Mother Nature gave them - their voices. Still, we'd wager that Mother Nature never imagined the sounds that would come out of the mouths of this vocally ambidextrous quartet - a senses-baffling combination of harmonies, effects and beatboxing. Indeed, their replication of the distorted bass sound beloved by grime and dubstep fans is pitch-perfect. Also noteworthy is the fact that one of The Boxettes is a bone fide world champ - Bellatrix, the current global queen of the art form. Expect her and her pals to be landing plenty of knockout blows this weekend.
