John Coxon and Ashley Wales often operate out on the fringes of music, but they've also wandered into the mainstream, producing the phenomenally successful 'Walking Wounded' album for Everything But The Girl. They've been working as Spring Heel Jack since 1993, releasing a mightily varied debut album, 'There Are Strings' (Rough Trade) in 1995, and moving to the outer limits of drum'n'bass for the more recent single, 'Bank of America'. They've also toured the US with Orbital.
