Serena Ramzy

From her early years as a dancer in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Serena has crossed continents to become one of the leading exponents of Middle Eastern dance in Europe today. Her repertoire embraces classical and traditional folkloric dance, Baladi improvisation and contemporary dance. Working with her husband Hossam Ramzy, the world class Egyptian percussionist, composer and teacher, this dynamic duo have toured the world performing and teaching. Serena is renowned for her highly individual form of dance expression and engaging presence on stage.
