Roger Monkhouse was raised in Kingston upon Thames during the seventies and retains his Estuary drawl despite a decade of living in Sheffield where he has run his own clubs, The Last Laugh and The Merry Hell. Since 1990 he has performed extensively throughout the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland and has recently performed in Belgium,The Netherlands, South Africa, China and the Middle East.Roger Monkhouse is a regular at Jongleurs Comedy Clubs and The Comedy Store where he is also a member of the prestigious Cutting Edge team, and has featured on major national tours of the UK sponsored by Hooch and J2O. His television credits include Channel 5's The Comedy Store.Roger Monkhouse is a consummate stand-up who employs a deadly combination of charm and menace to exert a masterful control over any audience.
