Óscartienealas

Oscartienealas is the pseudonym that Oscar P. Cabrera has used from the beginning of his musical career. In 2005, Mame Hernández (Bass) and Jose Suárez (drums) joined the band making Oscartienealas the only group originally from Lanzarote.
After a series of concerts on the islands, they won a Canarian music contest "La Caja Sonora" in March 2008. This gave them the opportunity to record their first album "Como terminar de una vez por todas con Oscartienealas" (How to end up with Oscartienealas) (Neptar Records, 2008).

By 'word of mouth' promotion only, they have become known as an indie band with a strong fan base in the Spanish market. They have since had their new album in the top 10 for Independent Bands on MySpace.

In may 2008 they gave their first performance outside the Canary Islands, in Razzmatazz (Barcelona). This was the start of a tour that enabled them to play with groups like Love Of Lesbian, Delorean, Najwa Jean, Facto de La Fe and Jamiroquai o Rinocerose.

In 2009 Oscartienealas' singles like 'Electroperras' or 'Mrs. Moss' have become a phenomenon in underground Internet groups. This has taken them to the US and México, and seen them perform in places like New York and Los Angeles.
