Nga Tae

From New Zealand

A strong combination of keyboard, computer, taonga puoro and voice with Richard Nunns (traditional Maori instruments), Paddy Free (keyboards), Waimihi Hotere (vocals) and Horomona Horo (traditional Maori instruments). Richard Nunns, widely considered to be the living expert on Nga Taonga Puoro (Maori traditional musical instruments) unites with Paddy Free, one of New Zealand's best-known electronic musicians to create a uniquely Aotearoa sound which pays homage to the raw beauty of the New Zealand. The group is rounded out by Richard's protégé Horomona Horo and renowned singer Waimihi Hotere. This is a new project which features at the Australasian World Music Showcase.
