His ideas crystalised with the 2007 landmark Mista Savona album Melbourne Meets Kingston - recorded in Jamaica and Australia, featuring the vocal talents of some of Jamaica's most renowned artists with the bass-heavy instrumental backdrop and vocal skills of leading Australian musicians. Jake backed up this triumph with the 2010 release of Mista Savona's fourth studio album, Warn The Nation, with input from renowned international artists including Capleton, Sizzla, Horace Andy (from Massive Attack), Anthony B, Alton Ellis and Burro Banton. For the stage, Jake brings together an incredible eight-piece band, channelling the true rhythmic pulse and raw excitement of Jamaican roots music.
