The Brazilian martial art of Capoeira is now a worldwide pursuit but few can claim to practice it with such flair, originality and acrobatic skill as Mimbre. This three-piece troupe use the disciplines of clowning, capoeira, breakdancing and acrobatics to stun their audiences into wide-mouthed submission. Mimbre’s beautiful choreography is the work of the sassily named Flick Fernando who is a tutor at The Circus Space and director of many a street theatre and circus success. The musical score is composed by Toby Park and the costumes designed by Georgina Napier. Fast flowing, spectacular and beautiful, you’ll never regret an hour in the company of Mimbre.
