A Taranaki native, Midge Marsden's career spans four decades, he has played thousands of concerts to countless people and he has performed with a list of artists that reads like a definitive Who's Who of New Zealand Rock. He has toured the USA a number of times and performed with the likes of 'Mississippi' Willie Foster, Bobby Mack, Ronnie Taylor, 'Aussie' Dave Boyle and Julie Anne Banks, all of whom have in turn toured New Zealand with Midge.In 2006 Midge received the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to music from Dame Sylvia Cartwright. He remains the number one Rhythm and Blues artist in NZ today. At WOMAD the Midge Marsden band performs with highly talented musician Darren Watson.
