Cellist Matthew Barley will personify the spirit of the Festival when he unites and directs - on one stage - a number of WOMAD performers. This gala show will join together the rhythms, language, movement of the world through the universal voice of music. In 1997 he founded 'Between the Notes', a performance and education group which works with music and combined arts. His pioneering approach to education, community music and training of orchestral players has taken him around the globe.A gift-package of the sights and sounds of the Festival, unwrapped on one stage.
