Each year, WOMADelaide begins with an opening ceremony conducted by the traditional owners of the Adelaide Plains area, the Kaurna people. In 2007, Paitya from the Four Directions, a group of 10 young people, will formally welcome the artists and the audience, and kick off the 15th anniversary festival.
