From Sicily

Mediterranean notes without borders. A re-reading music, as well as being a tribute for the period, often contains the genes of an unspoken past, a past with great potential, which can still offer much to the research for the universal language shared in different corners of the globe. A blend of rhythms that revitalizes the listening of this and that is justified by the quality choices in making music: Anna Bonomolo & Folkage Band has all these requirements.
Born as a group, consisting of well-known musicians from Sicily: Anna Bonomolo (lead vocals), Diego Spitaleri (piano and keyboards), Sebastiano Alioto (drums), Aldo Messina (bass), Innocenzo Bua (accordion) and Gianni La Rosa (percussions). The project is proposed as a research-mediated between the traditional folk-pop sound and the ethno-national and not a wink to the various folk's world : the "Olodum " of Bahia, the Argentine tango, the Portuguese Fado , the most famous Jamaican Reggae.
The directory "in the program ", inevitably revisited, contains songs like "Vitti na crozza " "Ciuri Ciuri " "Dicinticillo vuie ", not at all unnatural, even sublimated by arrangement shown in modern sounds - the group decided to include the unpublished compositions, also in Sicilian dialect.
