Africa's biggest DJ export has enjoyed 16 years of headlining super clubs, festivals and events in 22 countries, including Pacha in Ibiza, Ministry of Sound in London and Tank in Sydney. A pioneer in Afro-fusion music, Mozambique-born Dino Moran has had his productions featured on more than 40 albums, and been a star feature at such major events as last year's NYE beach party in Mozambique that attracted 10,000 people. Even Nelson Mandela has booked Dino to play at his birthday party. Dino's collaboration with South African shock theatre director Brett Baily created House of the Holy Afro, a ritualistic theatre, house party, pop art fusion show, combining tribal African rhythms and uplifting African songs of praise with cutting edge technology. Now calling Cape Town his home, Dino is credited as one of South Africa's first career DJs, spending daylight hours in his studio producing and remixing music for other artists, and producing two radio shows (including The Night Watchmen for Good Hope FM Cape Town) for the past six years with Craig De Sousa. In any spare time, Dino goes big wave windsurfing, crewing on a maxi racing yacht, or skippering his Hobie 16-footer to 12th place in South Africa's 2008 national championships.
