2000 Biography by Andy Morgan:Like many innovators and detonators, Bi-Polar have had difficulty finding a name for their outernational concoction of radical underground beats and global sounds. They settled on ‘Metropical’ and qualified this as "the sound of the concrete jungle with the feeling of a parrot jungle". What started as a duo has now grown into a fully fledge posse which features the toasting skills of the legendary Earl Sixteen alongside Asian rapper Hard Kaur, the wonderful brass section the Crispy Horns, funk keyboardist Tello and DJ / live mixmaster Ben Balafonic. Bi-Polar have remixed The Rolling Stones, The Afro-Celt Soundsystem with Sinead O’Connor, Earl Sixteen and Muryam Mursal. The group are one of the most hotly tipped outfits in the busy busy world of global dance fusion.
