Described by Songlines magazine as "Buenos Aires' king of alternative cool", Krygier's sense of style is matched by that of his music. Flirting all over the joint with folk traditions and cumbia, with pop and electronica, this musical promiscuity bears rich and vivid fruit. Just as Manu Chao managed in his spikey, Clash-inspired way, Axel nudges the world's population a little closer together using a wider palette of tools - he's more than adept with flute, trumpet, piano, accordion, saxophone, clarinet and, possibly most significantly, an electronic sampler.
