Another Green World are a fusion of the talents of ethereal keyboard wizard Paul Chousmer and daredevil saxophonist Dan "Spannerman" Carpenter. The music is a rolling soundscape, rich with the blue-green textures of primordial nature. It's perfect for drifting off into tumbling corridors of inner space, buffeted by gentle sonic breezes, with nibbles of jazz whispering seductively in your ear, whilst the honeyed dewdrops of skunk vaporise into smoky tendrils around your thought buds - if you like that sort of thing. If not, the poignant, maudlin beauty of tracks such as 'Another Green Waltz' are sufficient to warrant purchase of the album by anybody who stands by the motto: "I think therefore I ambient".The underground pedigree of this duo is immaculate. They practically invented the chill-out lounge, they assisted at the whelping of the infamous Club Dog as members of the seminal festival band Webcore, they brought lashings of psychoactively laced chaos to Glastonbury, they toured Europe and Scandinavia as the house band for anarcho-circus Archaos, and they have finally got around to releasing their impeccable collection of sublimerature, 'Invisible Landscape', on the festival-friendly Magick Eye label.
