Musical experimentation and liberation is the essence of Auckland band, An Emerald City. Organic instrumentation and sounds of the East (incorporating sitar and tambla) meet psychedelia, guitars and violin. Just over a year old, this six-piece band uses live performance as a celebration of all aspects of music – the sound they make, the ambience they create and the cascading visuals they enrich audiences with.
